Great weekend at Wazee

A great weekend was had by all at Lake Wazee this past weekend. We experienced the heat of Summer on Friday, an early October rainy day on Saturday and a nice mid September day on Sunday. Global warming? Who knows but it was still 41 degrees at 100 feet!

The burning ban was still in effect in the park, therefore no campfire but we still made an attempt to sing Kumbaya around Pete’s camper light. S’mores in the form of mini cupcakes along with ancient grains were semi-popular with the crowd.

Seven AOW students made it all the way through the course. Congratulations! Not a single one was left on the bottom. All are more confident divers.

The next time we are at Wazee is September 29 and 30 for an AOW weekend. While the staff will be teaching AOW on this weekend, feel free to join us at the campsite, go on some fun dives with a buddy or sign up for the AOW class. We’d love to see you there.
