Turks and Caicos 2020 – Sept 19th-26th 2020

Join us on a trip to beautiful Providenciales (Provo) of the Turks & Caicos islands for a week of fantastic diving or snorkeling, staying at Ports of Call Resort.  Turks & Caicos is consistently rated in the top 5 or higher for:

  • Best Overall
  • Best Macro Life
  • Best Big Animals
  • Best Wall Diving
  • Best Health of Marine Environment along with other categories.

The average temperature in Turks & Caicos in September is high 80’s with a tropical climate.  A constant trade wind keeps the climate at a very comfortable level.  Water temperature is mid-80’s with visibility ranging from 60-100+’.

Diving here offers excellent opportunities for encounters with Sea horses, colorful mollusks, crustaceans, anemones and tunicates. Divers will be enthralled by the variety of marine creatures to see and underwater photographers will think it’s a dream come true. Other resident creatures often spotted here include nurse sharks, lobsters, octopus and squid. Visiting squadrons of eagle rays are frequently sighted, along with patrolling reef sharks.

The beautiful shoreline is protected by a continuous barrier reef. As a result, all the diving around Provo takes place from a boat.  With our boat diving package, we will visit dive sites at different areas on the exterior of this reef system. Turks and Caicos scuba diving is mostly wall diving with some of the most spectacular and most often requested sites up to an hour boat ride away. Dive computers are required of all divers.  The shortest boat ride is about 15 minutes. However, the distance of the reefs from major civilization accounts for its unspoiled beauty.

The optional 3-tank Scuba Safari is a full-day trip for experienced divers only (20+ dives). Enjoy diving with a smaller group (limited to 12 divers) of like-minded keen divers to explore the deep walls of West Caicos or French Cay.  Nitrox certification is preferable as the third dive is always on Nitrox for a longer bottom time.  If you are not Nitrox certified, we can schedule your class before our departure.
