Rescue Diver Course
The PADI Rescue Diver Course is most often referred to as “challenging”, “rewarding”, “the hardest but best class so far”. This class builds upon your skills that you have already learned with regard to preventing problems and managing them if they occur.
What you will learn
Where and when?
There are three components to the Rescue Diver Course – classroom, pool and open water checkout. The classroom sessions at the shop are over two consecutive nights. The pool session at the Sun Prairie High School Pool is during our regular pool sessions on a Saturday night 4-8 pm. The open water checkout session at Shorewood is at a scheduled check out week night (Th-F) or weekend (S-S afternoon).
After you sign up for the class, go to the shop to pay for the class and pick up your course materials. After you have your PADI Rescue Diver crewpak, review the book and DVD before the classroom session so start to think like a rescue diver and preview the skills you will learn with your instructor. Upon your certification the course materials become a reference library for you to refresh your knowledge and skills as needed.
